Background of Nabinagar upazila
The glorious position of Nabinagar upazila on the history page since the beginning of the world. Rennell's map, published in 1778, is very importantly marked by Nabinagar. Nabinagar thana was established in 1875. In 1883, the Munsaf Court was started in Nabinagar. Nabinagar thana was officially upgraded to the upazila on 24 March 1983.
